Mega Market Recognised at the 2025 ZIMRA Taxpayer Appreciation Awards

Mega Market (Pvt) Ltd has been recognised by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) at the 2025 Taxpayer Appreciation Awards, held on 13 November 2025 at Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare. The awards honour organisations that demonstrate strong tax compliance, fiscal responsibility, and meaningful contribution to national economic development.

Mega Market was named one of the winners in the Region 3 Importers – Trade Facilitation category, following a consistent record of paying taxes fully and on time during the 2024 financial year. The recognition underscores the organisation’s commitment to efficient import processes, adherence to customs regulations, and close alignment with ZIMRA’s trade facilitation objectives.

The ceremony highlighted the vital role that compliant taxpayers play in strengthening Zimbabwe’s revenue base and enabling smoother, more predictable trade flows. Although the Honourable Vice President (Ret. Col.) Dr. K.D.C. Mohadi was listed as Guest of Honour, he was represented by the Deputy Minister of Finance, who emphasised the importance of tax compliance in advancing national development priorities.

Mega Market was proudly represented by L. Makusha, who accepted the award on behalf of the organisation.
